Sunbeam Chemicals was founded in 2009 by Mrs. Iva Bodenstein. With her ingenuity and drive, and seeing an opportunity, she had the product formulated by an industrial chemist. So the product was launched. She, as a financial director of a company in Secunda therefore did not have the time to develop the business to its full potential.

The product has been used, tested, and honed over many years and used successfully by a delighted client base.

She recently enlisted the services of John Brash. He is a full-time partner in the business and has been tasked to grow the company, from a part-time operation into a serious competitor in the chemical market. Success has been rapid due to various marketing initiatives and business management skills, thereby improving the growth and sustainability of the business.

A new logo was developed, a website designed, an efficient financial package was incorporated to facilitate a smoother operation, and marketing consultants were taken on board. The vision for the future is to listen to the client base and continue to develop the market in Bethal and surrounding areas. Another vision is to grow the range of products to a level that is both profitable and gratifying to the founder, Mrs. Bodenstein.
